I bought this book in 2009 while flying from london to mumbai for a short trip and got so absorbed in it that I would prefer to stay in the hotel room until I completed it :D the author is a genius.

Yeah, I can imagine the feeling. I bought it last year in Jaipur on my first visit to India. Hopped into a tiny corner bookstore -- after checking the Hawa Mahal -- and asked the guy sitting there if there was a book that I shouldn't miss buying. "This one" he said as he handed me a copy...
