At $38 million Bill Clinton is worth about 20 times more than Manmohan Singh.

Hollande To Face-off Sarkozy in 2012

He just defeated Martine Aubry in the second round of the Primaries organised by Le Parti Socialiste. But it's true that the incumbent President has not yet declared that he will be running again although this is widely expected. Recent polls have predicted that either Aubry or Hollande would defeat Sarkozy next year.

Five years ago, Sarkozy defeated Hollande's spouse, Dakar-born Segolene Royal in the race to L'Elysee. Still, they managed to do something the Clintons did not: both spouses getting their party's nomination in the Presidential Election.

Clinton Has 14 Ideas To Cut US Unemployment

Which currently stands at 14 millions. These include retrofitting buildings with energy-saving designs, painting every building roof white, carefully reducing corporate taxes, increasing individual top tax rates to where they were when he was President and vigorously reducing the skills mismatch.

In other words going green makes a lot of economic sense too.

Nobel Puts Feet in Mouth

By making vague pronouncements on a subject he knows very little about: Mauritius. He also came on TV and said we're doing fine because our unemployment rate is apparently 2% lower than the one in America. Nuances of the kind we expect from a Nobel were totally missing. 

Given that he was locally marketed as one of the architects of the successful Clinton years it's a real pity that he failed to connect some basic dots. Isn't that a case of the great man's disease?
