So he said a few days ago. What a lot of people are finding surprising is why did it take him so long to realise this after the whole of Mauritius had buried the issue for several weeks already.
The same people don't understand why he didn't speak out at the time President Uteem made those not-so-famous statements. Was he trying to see how the public in general would react to the ex-President saying he doesn't see any problem of joining the MMM and in jumping into active politics again?
That's one more proof that Berenger has been Leader of his party for way too long.
By the way, is it the kind of signal that Kee Chong was waiting to say yes to joining the MMM?
