Hu is Going to Be Missed?

Am gonna miss the Chinese President for at least one reason: he reduced traffic on our roads to levels not seen in ages. And he did that for two straight days. Simply awesome! What I don't understand is why Navin didn't offer him to stay in Mauritius forever.

It's true there is another solution to our severe traffic problems: provide a pair of escort motorcycles to each motorist.

Ever heard of the PRS? It is the Palma Road Syndrome: Dodoland's sophisticated art of fixing problems. Why bother about "systems thinking" when heeding to popular tantrums is more rewarding? Never mind if problems are merely displaced and long-term solutions are blissfully ignored.

Oh my ghosh, you people don't understand zero-sum games ! Prabanmantrisaab stopped traffic and what not, costing the country ( by least cost scenario, of the MK type ) some Rs 150m....but slipped the bill ( by a sleight of hand best known in his Irish pubs)to Hu..saab. Hence, the great feat of obtaining a bumper grant of Rs 150m from Chinibhai...ok? Resultat final : zero plombaz, as usual with this 3-hours sweet talker! Shakespeare called this : " Much ado about nothing!"

Kindly add "and crony" to "tantrums". Sorry for the lapse!

Just like the Daylight Saving Time makes perfect sense if we... get hit by an asteroid which could make Mauritius switch climates with Danemark.
