MK Should Ask Us To Name Five A350 XWBs

Like Qantas did a couple of months ago. But our national airline has ordered 6 of those planes I hear you say. I know. One of them has to be 12.3.68. And has to fly over the Champ de Mars at noon sharp on March 12, 2018.

Name our planes?
Really?
Especially after the notorious Boaty Mc Boatface episode, and its consequential meme-potential? :-)
I'd stick to honouring our endemic species, dead or alive, or nudging at the curiosity of potential visitors with our natural heritage.

Crowds can be very smart. There's no risk. MK doesn't have to accept any suggestions at the end of the process if it doesn't like them. Also we could have two rounds of votes once the suggestions are out (should include the names suggested by MK too).

It looks like MK did organise a naming competition for the new jets.

Quantas has a mighty record to its name now, using a Boeing Dreamliner 787.
Dodoland, can you make something that strikes peoples' minds too? So sad that 'Flying Dodo' has already been taken up by some over economic operator...
