So he wrote in an article in Le Mauricien today. Essentially Mohamed Vayid said that de l'Estrac seems to be blowing that same old biased trumpet of Labour (1968-82) = Bad, MMM = Good. And he kind of found it awkward that the author has used I in a history book. He suspects that de l'Estrac might have gotten a little bit confused and has instead written an autobiography. The book, according to Vayid, doesn't show the detachment which is necessary for it to be taken seriously.
What do you think?
As usual, Vayid is talking to himself! Much like L'Estrac in fact! Here are two guys who hate each other's pedantry but epatent la galerie by exchanging bouquets with daggers in their hands. Can't these two doting boloms show the young of today some respect and humility?

ReplyDelete@akagugo: did you get a chance to read it?
ReplyDeleteSaw that JDL has published a new book on Diego the launching of which was attended by some luminaries including R.S.. He seems to be wanting to make a fool of himself one more time.
ReplyDeleteHis next book should be about how a year ago the front page of one daily announced with much fanfare the sealing og the Ptr-MMM alliance plus doctored opinion polls etc...
Another book on why Central Banks never hold more than 50% of their reserves in gold will be nice too.
Here's a nice analysis of another of JCDL's book.
