Issues in Recent British Elections Are Relevant to Us
Listened to the first half hour and found it quite interesting. And relevant with respect to the rubbish we've been experiencing for the past decade. Just in case you missed it.
Well, Mrs May should be careful about the type of arrangement the Tories will make with the DUP, which is an Irish Unionist-leaning party, which may put in question the Good Friday that relies on the balance of power for the governance of Northern Ireland… A complex world it is,eh?
Pretty good debate overall. Corbyn doesn't want a low-tax-low-wages Britain but a high-tax-high-wages one -- the latest PJ budget makes the dumb provision to allow the hiring of foreign labour in agro industries. It wouldn't hurt if we had journalists like Plaxman and Islam to keep our politicians on their toes and to raise the level of the debate. Islam confirming with the audience that their questions have been answered is a minimum to guarantee that we're not going nowhere. And what do you make of Plaxman's facial expressions?
While here 4 neocons are commenting on the budget.
