Should Foreign Military Parade on March 12?

Apparently French soldiers from FAZSOI are set to participate in our Independence celebrations at Champ de Mars.

What do you think?

  3. Parading does not form part of FAZSOI's mission. It only was here to deliver some training, a bit like in 2007, to our police forces.

But then, why did they not parade in 2007?

If the justification is that France was a former coloniser, then why not also UK, Netherlands, and the Arab country that came here sporadically for re-filling? And also the US for having had the courtesy of broadening our offer to Uncle Sam's boys by adding the missing military flavour to our already wide tourism portfolio(eco-green, medical, wedding...) by settling for good in OUR Diego.

In any case the immeasurable obscenity of this idea should be rewarded by deporting its/their author/s outside our territorial waters. But we're in Dodoland: how much do you bet that this question will fade out once something else (equally non-essential, like the totally irrelevant electoral reform / BLS thingy nowadays) gets some media attention?

  6. French universities rebranded with English names and … English as the teaching language. In the meantime somewhere in the Indian Ocean …
