Should Zakir Naik Be Allowed into Our Country?

Khalil Elahee thinks the State should fully justify why Mr. Naik shouldn't be allowed into Mauritius for a conference. I don't think so. When it comes to certain national security issues the State doesn't need to explain itself at length.

    Yes he should not be banned from coming. He is a muslim leader, well educated in Islam. A seminar is done to teach people where they can learn something. It will enrich people's knowlede. I would like to attend his lectures and listen to him.

    A quick search on the internet reveals that he was banned entry in the UK and Canada in 2010. He has views against science and other religions. We should ban people who do not have mutual tolerance towards others and who think that they have the whole truth and that others are morons that need to be converted to their views.

    Moi suis d'accord avec Elahee. The reasons why his visa was initially rejected should be made public. Mauritius should not allow Dr Hate to sully our motherland.

    Mr Naik has some nice recommendations, especially about music:

    « Le pêché et la musique intéressent les étudiants. Ils en ont parlé au Dr Naik. Celui-ci leur a répondu « Il doit y avoir une raison pour qu’il nous ait interdit la musique. We may know and we may not know about it. » (...) précisant que le Quran interdit la musique « because it takes the person in a different world ».
    Dr Zakir Naik a expliqué que la musique pouvait être bénéfique, tout comme l’alcool « mais il y a plus de pertes dans ces deux choses que de bénéfices ».

    Maybe someday he'll find a proper koranic explanation for demonising music by referring to earworms...

    C'est ene drame ca crise en Syrie la. Autan refugies, par milions??? L'Europe pe pren beaucoup peut etre trop beaucop meme si nous regarde probleme a Cologne. Au fait Arabie Saoudite fine prend combien?
