Jugnauth: Second Miracle On Its Way

That's what he said in parliament this week. The trouble is that a year has already gone by since he's been in the driver seat and nobody has seen anything yet. Save water cuts for almost 12 months and an inflationary budget in November.

Don't hold your breath.

  2. We're eager to see the 'second miracle' happen without water... Really very eager.
And what about lack of electrical power in 2012? Ah, we'll cross the bridge when we come to the bridge, says le docteur-maƮtre...

  6. On the Medpoint Scandal. Now that it is being agreed by one and all that the purchase of Medpoint was scandalous. I do not think it is difficult to get to the root of the problem. ICAC should interrogate a major player Dr Malhotra and find out where the Rs144m has gone.I am sure he could not have disposed of such a huge amount within a short space of time. So please every one should call for the interrogation of Dr Malhotra

  7. It might be scandalous but that does not imply any wrondoing on Malhotra's part. He sold his clinic and he is free to do whatever he wants with the proceeds. It's nobody business. Not even ICAC's.

Otherwise it would be like asking for the names of all the ultimate beneficiaries of the Illovo, Mauritius Telecom, etc deals.

  8. I think it's the first time ever you have voiced your concerns with specific reference to how potentialy unfit PJ can be as the new FM. so don't pretend I've been nice to him in the past.
