Do We Need Singapore To Solve Our Water Problems?

Only if we're all brain-dead.

  1. Wait for the Beebeejaun Dam to be operational

Other advice - don't go seek medical treatment in Apollo hospital Opthalmology department(see weekend) - they will make you blind like the water Minister.

  3. Yeah, Singapore imports 40% of its water from Malaysia... From where would we need to import our excess demand...? Why not stop patting our own shoulder/back and turn to Rodrigues? Or Réunion Island? There's no harm in copying what worked under similar climates... But no, some here prefer that we all die of thirst rather than seeking help from Rodrigues which they perceive as backwards, while Réunion is shunned as "assistés".

  5. Singapore has become our "pepiniere" since the PM and the lot visited it. Transport- the PM should have ridden on a LRT/monorail to understand what it is but the solution is yet to come; now, BBJohn sees Singapore as his water mismanagement resolver; maybe, Bunwaree will seek Singapore's help to resolve the Guy Forget Polytechnics problem; Faugoo may get the food problem resolved. I don't know whether the PM is aware of the number of our young elites are precisely working in Singapore!

  6. I read Nita's interview in Mauritius Times. She forgets if the WB guy is still here, it's with the blessing of NR, her leader; does she want us to believe that the PM cannot cause a feuille de route to be given to the guy - she should be living in another planet! She has gone up to alleging that the guy blocks policies voted by the people's representatives!

Section 42 - Immunity of Authority

The Authority shall not be responsible for any damage resulting from
    (a) impurity of water
    (b) the irregularity and insufficiency of water for whatever purpose.

"si dilo vinn enn hazard enn sitoyen kav purswiv gouvernman"
Yes. Or an out-of-court settlement (like in the case of Mrs Véronique Topize and Mrs Bindu Ramlogun without any guarantee for improvement / change to prevent recurrence of the damage.

"si pena dilo minis ek plus plus pwal dan karo kan"
En bon? Who is the miniss-dilo (forget about the 2 years between 1998 and 2000) since 6 years already?
