  6. Question: where is Rama these days? For someone like him....whose actions have had such an impact on our economy(good or bad, I leave that for others to decide) he should have been at least voicing out his opinions on our current economic state. Where is he, anyone seen him around. I once saw Mr World Class Education with his wife at the curepipe forum buying potatoes and I asked him what he thinks his legacy was in the education sector. He pretended he didnt hear me.

    So guys where is Rama?

  7. I am not convinced that he has the minimum humility to be able to repent...

    "So guys where is Rama?"

Who knows? Probably dead (or deaf-and-dumb) from eating the same potatoes that you saw made Mr World-Class-Education deaf-on-sight the other day...

  9. "Les Politiques Toxiques De Sithanen Perdurent Avec Mansoor" So PJ has nothing to do with this given that he is in charge now, why doesnt he put a stop to it then?

  10. Sanjay:

I would bet that PJ would leave the 15% rate tax untouched when he delivers his first budget.

Nowdays, CSR has become the religion - govt pleases the private sector and then begs the latter for some money for X and Y projects.

Would be bold enough to make a prediction - will leave rate unchanged or not? Who knows he can decrease it further on Mansoor's advice.

  12. Ramgoolam said today on TV: 15 percent flat tax in Mauritius.

Did you hear that? So its now almost confirmed!!!!

  13. Yeah, change the title of this one or extend it to add the name of Ramgoolam as well. He said to the singapore rich that they should come and invest here because....we have a flat 15 percent tax rate in Mauritius.....meaning it wont change any sooner.
