Did You Say Air Corridor?

Getting flights from Changi to Plaisance won't hurt us. But Mauritius is unlikely to become the bridge between Asia and Africa that politicians want us to believe. As far as air traffic goes. You just need to look at the current flight patterns -- save that link to see how they change as the day progresses.

Good to also note that most of the air trips in Africa are between countries on the mainland. Besides we'll not get any of the flights that originate from west of the Atlantic coast of Mama Africa.

And then there are Dubai and Tambo and many others.

But heh, don't worry. No one can beat us when it comes to the dumb depreciation of our currency.

In your teeth, MEXA. With love fromFrancois.

Here's why:

Dumbass question of the year gets the smart-ass reply of the decade, for all those gourma-la-minn-dipain. Eh, did you hear them whining since the take-over from Lepep government? Deafening silence, eh?

His statements over the years have raised eyebrows. Like his employees eat more chicken than he does. Also wouldn't he be able to hire more Mauritians if he settled for a lower margin?

The GLD will not complain after the gift from Basant Roi. Who seems to have the weakest exporter in mind -- to paraphrase Bheenick -- when deciding on the value of our rupee.

Heard Pillay say Air Corridor working but they were surprised that Air Asia was making the most of the KL/Plaisance route after MK had abandoned it for Changi. Am very surprised too. Bad Air Asia which doesn't stay still. Bad Air Asia.

That much rubbish in one interview?

Heard Francois Eynaud on ION news saying that the air corridor hasn't worked so far. Who's keeping score?

Air corridor or not, we're very far from these super nodes. And time is running out on finding ways to tap onto this flux...
