Like most of the Commonwealth countries, we have a Westminster style Parliament. It is not in order for the Head of the State to do party politics, just like the Crown even after retirement;but here the business of politics is a big business. In fact SAJ was attacking his own government from Réduit while he was Prez.Before the the weekly Cabinet meet,the PM consults the President on affairs of the State.That's the forum. If we don't respect standing orders, decorum, then why waste time, money and run elections? why not do like some of the African countries:go for a coup and simply suspend the Constitution?
