Mauriitus is becoming quite af unny place actually - I hear, dont know if its true, that the FM and Ali the great with an american accent won't take part in the compensations negociations(must surely be a lie but....), the Air mauritius CEO asks for advice from someonbe who was being prosecuted for stealing 80 million (weak!) rupees(I dont know if the CEO read what the law loards had to say on sir harry), the PM now says he will donne les anglais un lecon, sithanen has dissapeared, the CEB buys fake Philips bulbs(Thomas Edison must be turning in his grave).....and what else...yeah a team of economist at the University of Mauritius say we should provide free bus transport on the basis that all will use it it(what a silly assumption), a new useless deputy president will be selected soon......My goodness where are we headed.

Though not wanting to do so, I think I must congratulate the MK CEO for meeting with Harry Tirvengadum, making him talk thus showing every one that Harry is NOW cured from the disease he was suffering from when he was being sued in the MK fund swindling case a few years ago - I hasten to add that Harry has the right to fall ill and get well, like you and me. So guys, the next move should be for the DPP to cause the case to be re-opened since it was not closed but shelved due to the incapacity of the accused to defend himself being seriously ill.
Well done, MK CEO! You should now ask your team of legal people - Fouad Nooraully and others - to work toward re-opening the case. Alle travail astere, mo espere ou Berlin so laroue has been repaired. Va!

"I told the electors to give me the majority required to amend the Constitution to abolish the post of Vice-President. They did not, so I can't amend the Constitution!" This is what Navinchandra Ramgoolam said (not exactly but about). Could not he find whether the Opposition was willing to vote the amendment? The people of Mauritius should not be taken to be fools, dear PM! You are not talking to children about father Xmas! You are under pressure to satisfy the people in or connected with the LP or its allies. So Lo! instead of proposing an amendment to the Constitution - as I am sure is the wish of the People of Mauritius - you have chosen your Vice-President costing the bagatelle of Rs 60,000,000 for 5 years. Congratulations for taking us for a ride!

Little did I know that Singapore had seen its currency appreciate by 60% but over 30 years. Given how beaten-up our rupee has been it should definitely rise a lot in value so we improve our very sloppy overall management.
