Labour Party Icon Snubbed

Would you believe this? Lady Ruhdihkahaah Jagatsingh, pictured above in the early 1970s, was today not invited to the 74th anniversary celebrations of the only political party she has known, loved and devoted an entire life to.

Why was she not invited? The uninterrupted firing of missiles by the little fellow in the middle of the picture may have had something to do with it.

Only passing mention was made of SKJ as stalwart of the party.
I agree that the LP has made a big blunder by not inviting the Lady. Sad!!!
By the way, I foresee an avalanche of posts coming from you on the blog following the PM's statement that his govt is the best Mauritius has had, that the economy has been professionally managed and that he can drive Labour to power alone.Am I right??? (( ;-

The LP of Navin, Deva, late JBD is revanchard. Flatter them and they are with you, eg VoH, Dulthumun; even Indian so-called religious dignitaries and politicians know this - just remember the last 2 consecutive years the speeches at Grand Bassin. That Navin said at the Lp anniversary he did not like flattery is 100% untrue.
Many know how devoted was Lady RJ to LP. History is there. In heaven, SSR and SKJ should be discussing of the curse befallen on LP!

Living on your knees, conformity
Or die on your feet for honesty!

That's what I call "la rançon de la liberté d'esprit". This should be a "calotte" to all those who lashed at your origins on le defi's blog...
